The American non-profit organization “Spirit of America”, in partnership with the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is implementing a project to donate musical instruments to students of primary and secondary music schools throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As the second step in the realization of this project, this week the representatives of the Spirit of America organization visited BiH and donated musical instruments to music schools in Prijedor, Bihac, Mostar, Stolac and Trebižat. All instruments were purchased in BiH, and the value of the donation is over 30,000 BAM.

Donations were accompanied by concerts of the orchestra of the Armed Forces of BiH and workshops for children and youth attending music schools. This week’s final donation was presented to the Home for Children without Parental Care in Sarajevo, where the children shared their love of music and creativity.

The aim of the project is to bring together children from all over BiH to improve their music education and encourage their creativity. It also helps professional networking and a spirit of collaboration between professional musicians from BiH and the United States.
