NATO Headquarters Sarajevo donated nine aggregates for electricity to the Armed Forces of Bosnia-Herzegovina (AFBiH) at a ceremony held on Tuesday at the Butmir base.

Aggregates of various sizes, from small, mobile units to large, five-tonne container units, have been donated to support regular operations, exercises and training conducted by the AFBiH.

“It is our pleasure to support our partners from the Armed Forces of BiH whenever we can,” said Hungarian Brigadier Antal Bardos, Head of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo.

He added that he was convinced that the said equipment would be put to good use in conducting training and in day-to-day operations.

At the ceremony, Brigadier Bardos, with his signature, formally handed over the units to Brigadier Nebojsa Bosnjak, Chief of Staff of the J4 Joint Staff of the AFBiH.
