His Excellency, Ambassador Johann Sattler, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Friday, visited the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Sattler met with the President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ranko Debevec, Head of the Court’s Criminal Division, Judge Minka Kreho, and Registrar for the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emira Hodžić.

The subject of discussion was the position of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the justice system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the significance of successful cooperation between the Court and the European Union Delegation. President Debevec informed the Ambassador about the current issues important for the operation of the Court of BiH.

President Debevec and Ambassador Sattler voiced their shared commitment and need for a pro-active approach in strengthening the fight against corruption and the rule of law as important elements in the process of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European integrations.
