After the 19 September last year when the bilateral agreement with the EU about the accession of BiH to the World Trade Organization (WTO) was signed, there is now a real possibility that BiH joins this multilateral institution.
Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Hamdo Tinjak is BiH negotiator for the accession of BiH to WTO.
He said that the Agreement with the EU opened a possibility that BiH would become a member of WTO by the end of 2013.
”We only need to sign five-six bilateral agreements in order to finish that process. We need to negotiate with USA, Brazil, Ukraine and some other countries, and now we’ll have Brussels on our side during the negotiations which will strengthen our negotiating position”, said Tinjak.
