Nenad Nesic Returning To The Post Of Minister Of Security Of BiH?

There is an enormous amount of ignorance and great agreement within the Council of Ministers; SNSD could not have done it alone. This is also shown by the infamous purchase of the building from Dodik’s godfather, and we heard from the “Coalition of the Three” representatives that this would not happen. The decision to halt the purchase of this building was also violated. The question arises whether this is incompetence or certain agreements are at play, said the head of the DF caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Milan Dunovic. In an interview, he also commented on the possibility of Nenad Nesic returning to the position of state Minister of Security, concluding that he “can return if the ‘Coalition of the Three’ votes for him”.

Interview question: “The 26th and 27th emergency sessions of the House of Representatives of PABiH were held. Only three items are on the agenda in the first. Conclusions on insufficient representation of Bosniaks in BiH institutions rejected. What do the numbers say, and what did yesterday’s discussion show?”

“These are actually data that have been collected for several years. It was found that the number of employees by ethnic groups does not match the censuses from 1991 and 2013. Politicians from SNSD said that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NARS) has not even recognized the 2013 census,” stated Dunovic.

Interview question: “SNSD representatives claim that it happens that Bosniak employees change their declaration of national affiliation in order to allow manipulation of numbers on the national structure of employees?”

“There were such comments as well. Then it was questioned whether institutions conducted a hiring survey, whether the data were taken arbitrarily, etc. There is an obligation that when hiring, the population census must be taken into account. There were a number of proposed conclusions, but none were adopted. Representatives from the RS, both from the government and opposition, were against. The discussion, which lasted three hours, was not brought to a conclusion to try to correct these anomalies, so we will have similar topics in the period ahead,” he said.

Interview question: “At the second session, there was a discussion about the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and Culum, Borjana Kristo, and the purchase of a building for the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) in Banja Luka?”

“We heard statements from SNSD politicians, especially Sanja Vulic, who threatened with a scandal. I don’t know if she created a scandal in the meantime. Why is it a problem to talk in Parliament about these matters, which all citizens saw happen? Culum was receiving two salaries (at SIPA and the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs), whether he violated the law, etc,” Dunovic emphasized.

Interview question: “Isn’t it strange that during all that time the Council of Ministers of BiH did not find it appropriate to accept his resignation?”

“That was also the second item on the agenda, i.e., the unlawful conduct of Chairwoman Kristo, who also had the obligation to appoint the missing Minister of Security. All citizens are hostages of the ruling majority at the state level – that’s HDZ, SNSD, and the “Coalition of the Three”. So, after Culum unilaterally left the position of SIPA Director, the Council of Ministers did not accept his resignation, and ministers from the “Coalition of the Three” say it’s not good to accept that resignation because there is no deputy after Zoran Galic fled. Why wasn’t a deputy appointed earlier? Then Culum returns to that position, and in the meantime met the conditions for retirement. All this showed great ignorance of the ruling parties or some kind of agreement,” he emphasized.

Interview question: “What can the Joint Committee for Defense and Security, of which you are a member, do in this situation?”

“It’s absolutely the right question. What the Committee has done is a whole lot of nothing. After March 7th, when SIPA was ordered to leave their workplaces in Banja Luka, we had a meeting and I asked Culum what was going on, and he relativized everything, saying it was because of March 8th. The question arises whether this is incompetence or certain agreements are at play,” Dunovic said.

Interview question: “Now it is also being mentioned that Nenad Nesic could return to the Council of Ministers. How do you comment on that possibility?”

“Look, in this ruling majority, everything is possible. He can return if the “Coalition of the Three” votes for him. The opposition in both entities will not vote for him. If there is the math for his return, then that is a question for the people who sit in the Council of Ministers,” Dunovic concluded, N1 writes.
