Dodik will run in the next Elections, believes in Victory

The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, announced that he will run for this position in the next general elections, and believes in victory.

“In my opinion, since this opposition has not stabilized yet, in about ten years I may leave politics. These are the best years for politics, my only problem is that I started early,” Dodik told the “Banjaluka.net” portal.

He emphasized that he will definitely leave politics if he loses the elections, and when he definitely leaves, he will certainly not be involved in politics anymore.

“I am fighting to make a transfer in the SNSD and as you can see, many younger people and middle generations are significantly represented in the local structure of the party leadership,” said Dodik, who is also the leader of the SNSD.

He stated that he will be corrective for some time until he is sure that this party will continue to do so without him.

“That will be my greatest life and political victory,” Dodik emphasized.

Dodik said that he always takes the opposition in RS seriously, even when they are not serious, and that he regrets that there is no serious social dialogue between the government and the opposition.

“Maybe that would help them the most, but they speak best about themselves. I see them as equal political competitors and the best measure for that is elections. I have been winning consistently for 22 years, and they have been defeated consistently for 22 years. I see that they have not tired, so I have no right to get tired of victories either,” Dodik emphasized.

He emphasized that he should have a common position with the opposition in RS on certain issues, and recalled that he had tried to invite them several times, but that they only came to present their opposing platforms, Srna writes.
