Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called today for the formation of a global coalition against Iran and promised to personally “target” every Iranian leader, the Paris newspaper Le Monde reported on its website.

During a visit to the site of the missile attack in Arad, Netanyahu called on world leaders to commit their countries to a joint military operation led by Israel and the United States against Iran.

Iran has the ability to strike deep in Europe
After Iran hit a British-American base on the island of Diego Garcia, far in the Indian Ocean, with an intercontinental ballistic missile, Netanyahu told reporters that it appeared that Iran “has the ability to strike deep in Europe.”

Regarding Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which leads to the Indian Ocean and beyond to the world, Netanyahu said that the Iranians are targeting everything and blocking international maritime and energy routes, trying to blackmail the entire world.

“It is time for the leaders of other countries to join us,” Netanyahu said.

Condemning Iranian attacks

Israeli Prime Minister condemned recent Iranian attacks near holy sites in Jerusalem.

“They fired on Jerusalem, right next to the holy sites of the three monotheistic religions: the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Al Aqsa Mosque. Miraculously, none of them were hit, but they targeted the holy sites of the three major religions,” Netanyahu said.

Asked about Israel’s response to attacks on Israeli civilians, Netanyahu said it would respond with great force, but not against civilians.

“We are targeting the regime, the Revolutionary Guard, this criminal organization. We are targeting them personally, their leaders, their facilities and their economic resources. We are acting with great firmness,” the Israeli Prime Minister said.
