New 49 Cases of Coronavirus confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The new coronavirus has been confirmed in another 49 patients in Republika Srpska entity, according to the entity’s Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, after testing 455 laboratory samples, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

The new coronavirus has been confirmed in one employee and 13 users in the Derventa Nursing Home, where all the epidemiological measures will be implemented, including testing of all employees and users.

In accordance with the procedure, these residents were hospitalized at Doboj Hospital.

The ministry said the presence of the new coronavirus was confirmed by five nurses and one doctor at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska. Another 96 health professionals at that health facility were tested and were negative.

A total of 26 male and 23 female persons were infected, two men are younger, nine are middle-aged and 15 are older. Six women are middle-aged, two are younger and 15 are older.
