New Cases of Coronavirus recorded in BiH

In the last 24 hours in Bosnia and Herzegovina, coronavirus infection (SARS-CoV-2) has been confirmed in 150 people, and two deaths have been reported as a result of the infection.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 1,248 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 135 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except in Bosnia-Podrinje.

A total of 1,230,087 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 248,534 individuals.

In the past 24 hours, two deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH, in Una-Sana and Sarajevo Canton, while six deaths were reported retroactively. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 8,824.

In the last 24 hours, 139 laboratory samples were tested in laboratories in the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, and a new coronavirus was confirmed in 13 people. These are six men and seven women, two of whom are younger, six middle-aged and five older.

No deaths have been reported to the RS Institute of Public Health.

So far, 111,619 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 6,327 people who have been tested for coronavirus have died. A total of 417,842 people were tested. The total number of hospitalized in the RS is 51, and there are five on the respirator.

Today, two new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brcko District of BiH.
