In Bosnia and Herzegovina in January 2022, the number of unemployed persons was 377,126, of which 57.5 were women, according to the Agency for Statistics of BiH.
Compared to December 2021, the number of registered unemployed persons increased by 0.4 percent.
Compared to January 2021, the number of registered unemployed decreased by 9.1 percent.
“If we look at the registered unemployed by qualification structure, it can be seen that the largest number of unemployed persons with high and skilled qualifications is 120,214, followed by persons with secondary education 107,972 and unskilled persons 102,034,” the Statistics Agency points out.
The lowest number of semi-skilled persons is 6,055, followed by persons with higher education 6,634.
