Law on Residence of B&H oslobodjenje.baDuring the third emergency session of the Parliament of BiH, new proposed amendments to the Election Law were adopted.

Earlier, the Parliament adopted amendments proposed by the Inter-resource group about changes to the election legislation. This was proposed by Borjana Krišto, Hazim Rančić and Lazar Prodanović.

However, what has attracted most attention, are the three new separate points in the Election Law which relate to Mostar. This change was proposed by Mirsad Mešić, Damir Bećirović, Borjana Krišto, Amir Fazlić and Mirsad Đonlagić.

The Parliamentary Assembly of BiH will address these changes by the end of the session. The result will depend on whether the elections in Mostar this year will be held, as the Central Election Commission will start elections on 4th of May.
