pipelineLast week, the director of BH-Gas and board members of Plinacro from Croatia signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the BH-Gas and the Croatian operator of transport gas system, with which are defined the areas of cooperation within which will be intensified activities in terms of realization of development projects in the upcoming period.

A special emphasis was put on linking the gas system over the southern point of interconnection (direction Zagvozd- Imotski-Posusje-Travnik/Novi Travnik).

The current state of the gas system in BiH puts the construction of the second entrance of gas in BiH as the imperative task, which is conditioned by the state of the existing gas network on the one side, and activities of the RS around control of the entrance of gas in BiH on the other side.

The existence of more than one entrance of gas comes as an obligation that the state of BiH must fulfill as a member of the Energy Community and it refers to relevant directives in the field of security of supply.

Based on the signed Memorandum, and in cooperation with the Government of the FBiH and the relevant ministry, BH-Gas will start with activities on the realization of nominated activities from the Memorandum, and all of that with the aim of ensuring a stable supply of natural gas for the citizens of FBiH and BiH, as announced from BH-Gas.
