At least 84 Palestinians, including more than 50 children, were killed in two attacks on Palestinian homes in northern Gaza, which the Israeli army has been under tight siege for about a month.
The government’s media office in Gaza announced that the Israeli army bombed the buildings of the Shelayil and Al-Gandur families in northern Gaza, which housed 170 civilians.
The attacks were described as brutal massacres.
“In two brutal massacres committed by the occupying Israeli army, 84 people lost their lives, of which more than 50 were children, and dozens were lost and injured in the ruins,” the statement reads.
It was also emphasized that “Israel committed genocide in Gaza” and that “the Israeli army targeted buildings where civilians and displaced Palestinians took shelter.”
The statement also states that the medical and civil protection teams could not fulfill their duty because the Israeli army collapsed the health system in the north of Gaza, targeted hospitals and put them out of use.
