The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), including the Cabinet of the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, yesterday received five new official vehicles whose value without VAT reaches 452,991 BAM.
New official cars arrived in Sarajevo yesterday, and their purchase was carried out according to the Public Procurement Plan for 2023.
Thus, the Council of Ministers received three mid-range and two high-class cars. The total estimated value of the public procurement (without VAT) is 452,991.46 BAM, for two passenger motor vehicles of a high class and category worth 273,504.28 BAM (without VAT) and for three passenger motor vehicles of a mid-range and category worth 179,487.18 BAM[without VAT).
Namely, the Rulebook on the conditions of procurement and the manner of using official vehicles in the institutions of BiH, which was adopted by the Council of Ministers of BiH at the 9th session, held on April 12th, 2023, prescribes the conditions of procurement, the number and the way of using official vehicles of the institutions of BiH for the needs of the institutions, as well as rights, obligations, and actions of employees and persons driving official vehicles.
According to the rulebook, the lower class of passenger vehicles is worth up to 30,000 BAM, the lower middle class is worth up to 60,000 BAM, the middle class is up to 70,000 BAM, the upper middle class is up to 130,000 BAM and the high class is worth up to 160,000 BAM.
The Rulebook on the conditions of procurement and the manner of using official vehicles in the institutions of BiH, which was adopted by the Council of Ministers, stipulates that state institutions procure high-class passenger vehicles with a purchase value of up to 160,000 BAM. The Presidency of BiH, the Constitutional Court of BiH, and the Office for the Audit of Institutions of BiH are exempt from the application of this rulebook, Klix.ba reports.
