An inmate of the Kozlovac Prison in Tuzla, who had been on the run since Saturday, was arrested yesterday.
As announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton (TC), the police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of TC, in cooperation with the police officers of the Istok Police Station, on the basis of operational data and knowledge, located and arrested S.A. (27) around 1:45 p.m.
“The duty Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the TC was informed about the arrest, while S.A. was handed over to the jurisdiction of the Tuzla Prison, i.e. sent back to serve his prison sentence, after the criminal investigation,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of TC announced.
It should be mentioned that S.A. escaped from the prison in Tuzla in the afternoon on Saturday by jumping over the fence. As it turned out, he did not use force on that occasion, and from that moment on an arrest warrant was issued for him.
