muzej4Guarding of the National Museum, which has been closed for three years, by the citizens have been continued today as well through the campaign “I am Museum”.

Through this campaign, everyone is called to show solidarity with the employees of this museum, who are watching over the museum collection without any compensation for 3 years. They have not received 40 salaries!

Ines Tanović Sijerčić, the coordinator of the project of the Association of Action and Culture Initiative 2020, revealed that there is a huge response on this campaign. Everyone wants to be the guardian of the Museum!

Even families with the children applied for the campaign, because their children “have never visited the Museum”.

Today in the Museum the guardians are: Moamer Kasumović and children from the Bjelave Orphanage, Adnan Jahić, Fr. Nikica Vujica and Franciscans from Fojnica, Gorana Mlinarević, Besim Svraka, Alija Pirić, Jasna Jelisić, Selma Spahić, and a novelist, Ferida Duraković, who will be reading a poetry with her friends from P.E.N. Center B&H.

On call shifts are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the campaign will last until the 4th of October.
