On Saturday at 12 noon, new, ninth protests have been scheduled in front of the National Museum over the tram accident in Sarajevo.

It has been a month since the accident, which killed Erdoan Morankić (23), seriously injured Ella Jovanović (17), and slightly injured three people.

The last protests regarding the tram accident were held on February 26, when citizens took to the streets of Sarajevo and peacefully walked to pay tribute to Morankić and the injured, calling for accountability for everyone in the chain of the system, and for a faster and more efficient investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo.

Given that the protests are scheduled in front of the National Museum, it is expected that traffic towards the city center will be blocked again.
