Besides Zagreb, the Czech national airline is opening another ten destinations this summer, including Skopje and Sarajevo, said Dalibor Málek, regional director of sales at Czech Airlines.
Czech Airlines returns to Croatia after a four-year break with the establishment of flights on the route Zagreb-Prague. The first flight is scheduled for April 27 this year. In the beginning, Czech Airlines will be flying twice per week, on Mondays and Thursdays, flight on Saturdays will be introduced as of May 14, and the flight on Wednesdays will be introduced in the peak of tourist season, as of July 21. Thus, Zagreb and Prague will be connected four times per week.
The flights will take around 90 minutes. Price of one-way ticket will amount to 72 EUR, while the return ticket will cost 141 EUR with all taxes and fees. Departures from Zagreb are in the morning hours and returns from Prague in the evening hours, which will suit well the businessmen who have some business to do in just one day, as well as the tourists who will be able to go on an extended weekend to the Czech capital.
“Today, we are a private company in which the Korean Air has the largest package of 44 percent of shares. With our partners we fly to 120 destinations in 55 countries of the world,” Málek said.
