Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Mirko Sarovic, and Veterinary Office of BiH are conducting intense final activities in order for BiH to get the permission for export of the remaining types of milk and dairy products to the EU.
This is milk and dairy products with a lower level of processing, i.e. milk and dairy products that went through one pasteurization treatment, as noted from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
“If we get this permission for import and the EU takes our requirements into consideration, it will be another significant step towards achieving EU standards for our domestic companies and institutions in the chain of responsibility for food of animal origin,” stated Minister Sarovic.
The report of the European Commission on fulfilment of the conditions for putting BiH on the list of the European Commission is expected in the upcoming days, as noted in the statement.
