On January 17th, COMEUFOR, Major General Martin Dorfer, held a New Year’s reception at Camp Butmir for the international community and diplomatic corps in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Among the guests was His Excellency Lars-Gunnar Wiggemark, the EU Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thanking all those present for their support, COMEUFOR said:

“I hope this serves as a chance for us all to strengthen our mutual relations; I am very much looking forward to working with you in 2019 and beyond.”

During his address, COMEUFOR highlighted the success of Exercise Quick Response 18, the delivery of mine awareness training to over 16,000 people during 2018, and the signing of the Training and Co-operation plan with the Armed Forces Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2019.

EUFOR hosts a reception every year as a way to show the organisation’s appreciation to the many people and groups who support EUFOR.
