Newly elected Members of BiH Presidency take the solemn Oath

President of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Suad Arnautović, today handed certificates to Denis Bećirović, Željko Komšić and Željka Cvijanović, by which they officially assumed the duties of the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and took the solemn oath.

In the previous mandate, Šefik Džaferović, Željko Komšić and Milorad Dodik performed this duty.

In the elections held on October 2, Denis Bećirović won 330,238 votes in the race for the Bosniak member of the Presidency, Željko Komšić won 227,540 votes for the Croat member of the BiH Presidency, while Željka Cvijanović won 327,720 votes for the Serb member of the BiH Presidency.

Denis Bećirović was the joint candidate of 11 parties from Bosnia and Herzegovina for that position. Željko Komšić was the candidate of the Democratic Front (DF), while Željka Cvijanović was the candidate of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD).
