The President of the RS National Assembly Igor Radojičić and the EU Commissioner for Enlargement Štefan Fule assessed yesterday in Brussels that the next month is crucial for the process of BiH integration.
‘’In this period, it is necessary to reach an agreement on the implementation of the “Sejdić-Finci” ruling in BiH, in order to bring the ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and to later meet the requirements for a credible application as a member state’’, according to a press release from the cabinet of the RS National Assembly.
It was noted that it is very important to continue the process of consultation on the mechanisms of coordination and communication of the European issue in BiH.
Fule expressed his interest in the process of the election of a new RS government.
Radojičić warned of the need to organize a census in BiH in October of this year, and to remove the visible problems in the electoral system that are primarily related to the uncertainties in the registration and voting rights of BiH voters.
The continuation of summits on the European process that was launched by leaders of leading political parties last year would continue.
It is planned that Commissioner Fule and the highest representatives of the Counil of Europe would continue dialogue with local BiH leaders on the European Agenda as soon as possible.
