Niksic-NerminHeavy rainfall triggered many landslides again and there are many flooded facilities in the Federation of BiH. Situation is most alarming in parts of Zenica-Doboj and Tuzla cantons. Civil protection teams are in the flooded areas and according to the information at our disposal lives of citizens are not endangered, which is the most important.

”I am in constant contact with competent people from the FBiH Civil Protection, prime ministers of cantons and mayors of municipalities which have been affected by this natural disaster”, said Prime Minister Nikšić, emphasizing that all resources have been placed in function of rescue and protection and they will engage additional resources if necessary.

”Government of FBiH is also preparing an emergency transfer of financial aid for endangered cantons. Government of FBiH is ready to engage all additional resources which the FBiH Civil Protection Headquarters assesses necessary”, said Nikšić.
