No Agreement reached on the New IMF Credit for Bosnia

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija, held today, via a video link, the sixth session of the Fiscal Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at which the Letter of Intent for concluding a new arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was discussed again.

“Even at today’s session, no agreement was reached on issues on which there was no agreement at the previous session,” the statement said.

Today, the Fiscal Council of BiH concluded that the consultations at the technical level will continue in order to bring the positions closer and reach an agreed solution, after which a new session of the Fiscal Council of BiH will be held in the middle of next week.

Representatives of the IMF mission in BiH also attended today’s session of the Fiscal Council of BiH.
