No Dramatic Medical Interventions on the New Year’s Eve

paramedicsInstitute for Emergency Medical Services Sarajevo Canton last night had the usual New Year’s Eve, with a growing number of cases of acute alcoholism among citizens who requested medical assistance.

It was confirmed this morning by specialist of emergency medicine Prim. Dr. Amra Basic – Zivadinovic, adding that several cases of injuries due to falling or collapse on the street were recorded, but there was no dramatic interventions or serious injuries.

During the night, paramedics had 67 home interventions, and a total of 63 interventions on the field during the day.

That number of these interventions is common, says Basic-Zivadinovic, there was only increased number of interventions on public places, a total of 19.
