No increased radioactivity near Bosanski Novi

bos.noviThe State Inspector for radiation and nuclear safety conducted measures of airborne radioactivity at the location in the territory of the Bosanski Novi/Novi Grad Municipality which is closest to Trgovska Gora and determined there is no increased radioactivity.

It is said in the Information on Communication on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and on the Safety of Radioactive Waste on Trgovska gora by the State Regulatory Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety which was submitted to the deputies of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Joint Commission for Defense and Security of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH is the agency tasked to provide detailed information on measures taken in regard to safety and the environment in the vicinity of the site to Trgovska gora in Croatia, where it is planned to dispose of nuclear waste.
