The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Germany, Damir Arnaut, told Klix.ba that BiH the embassy currently has no information or indications that there are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina among those killed or injured in last night’s attack in Magdeburg.

According to him, considering the large number of injured, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to communicate with the German authorities until the final confirmation.

He indicated that the Embassy is in constant contact with the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s associations in Germany, for which he stated that they also have no knowledge that there are BiH citizens among the victims.

We remind you that a man, and the German newspaper Spiegel announced that he is 50-year-old Taleb A., is suspected of driving a car into a large number of visitors to the Christmas market in Magdeburg last night. On that occasion, dozens were injured, and at least four people were killed, including a child. It is feared that the death toll could rise. The suspect was arrested.

German media reports that the Saudi is a doctor, a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, who came to this country in 2006. Searches are underway, and authorities assume that he acted alone. The attack has been characterized as terrorist.
