The Chairperson of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, sent a telegram of condolences to President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the occasion of the attack in the Federal Republic of Germany.

“Please accept my sincere condolences on the occasion of the horrific attack on the Christmas market in Magdeburg. There is no justification for violence and the murder of the helpless and innocent, which is why I strongly condemn this violent act. Please convey my deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and my wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured,” said Cvijanović.

Member of the Presidency of BiH, Denis Bećirović, condemned the terrorist attack in the German city of Magdeburg.

“It is with great sadness that I received the news of the attack on the Christmas market in the city of Magdeburg. I condemn this cruel terrorist act in the strongest terms, deeply sharing the grief and pain that befell the families of the victims and the entire community. On behalf of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the families of the victims, and all citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany. Please convey my words of condolences to the families of the victims, and my wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. Our thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones. Please accept my sincere condolences and solidarity,” the message states.

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

“Dear President Steinmeier, I was deeply affected by the news of the brutal attack that took place. We strongly condemn every form of violence and terrorism, which not only destroy human lives but also violate the fundamental values of peace, security, and mutual respect. I express my deepest condolences and solidarity with all those affected by this tragedy. I wish the injured a successful recovery and strength to overcome these difficult times,” said Komšić.

In Magdeburg, four people were killed in an attack on the Christmas market, and 205 people were injured when the attacker drove his car into the crowd.
