The Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic, will not visit Banja Luka today, December 11th, although according to the earlier plan, he was supposed to attend the opening of the Gradiska border crossing and the new bridge over the Sava, and meet with the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Borjana Kristo, media report.

His arrival was cancelled, they state, because the ceremonial opening of the bridge and the border crossing will once again be postponed due to internal political blockades in BiH.

Although it was previously announced by the “Logistika BiH” Consortium that the crossing would be opened in the presence of officials from BiH, Croatia, and the European Union (EU), and that it would be temporarily closed immediately afterward, the Croatian Prime Minister decided not to attend the event.

At the same time, there is no official information from the BiH authorities about this. Otherwise, the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) distanced himself from the statements of Zijad Krnjic, a member of the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority. Among other things, he said that Krnjic’s position is not the position of the Federation Government.
