novalicAddressing the audience at the New Year’s reception of the Association of Employers FB&H, the Prime Minister Fadil Novalic rated a year of 2015 as a turbulent but successful, noting that priority of the Government of FB&H for the up-coming year will be to improve the business environment.

The Prime Minister Novalic said that the Government of the FB&H, at the end of this year, was mostly concerned about issues of employment laws, reducing of public spending and finding ways to increase the employment.

“Our priority in 2016 will be the business environment, where we will work on the establishment of commercial courts and allowing more efficient bankruptcy procedures, and an important part will be the launch of one-stop shops, or offices that will effectively allow starting a business as soon as possible,” stated Novalic.

Prime Minister of the Government of FB&H emphasized that it has never been clear how will they solve the deficit in the pension fund, which amounts to 159 million BAM, and the situation will be further + aggravated by the increase of the number of pensioners, which is now 25,000.

However, Novalic announced special activity when it comes to legislative changes. A new law on the pension system should be adopted by March 2016, as well as the simplification of the Law on Corporate Income Tax of FB&H.
