The Federal Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) approved on Thursday 30,000 BAM to be allocated from the funds of the Federal Reserve of FBiH Government Budget 2017 to the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The allocated money will be used for the maintenance costs of the Parenting House in Sarajevo.

The parental house is an accommodation for children suffering from malignant illnesses and their parents who come outside of the Sarajevo Canton. The parental house is not only used for the accommodation of parents and children, but also provides psychosocial assistance and support to children and parents with the goal of preventing and overcoming psychological problems and disorders.

The annual costs for the Parenting House are around 150,000 BAM, and since the opening, the Association seeks to find a systematic solution for the funding of the house.
