Officials of Sarajevo and Friedrichshafen talked about the Cooperation in the Economy and Tourism

officials meetingDeputy Mayor of Sarajevo, Dr. Ranko Covic, with his associates, received yesterday a multi-member delegation of the German city Friedrichschafen, with which Sarajevo has a brotherly relations for 43 years.

Delegation of this German city was consisted of: the deputy mayor of Friedrichshafen, Dr. Wolfgang Sigg, chairman of the Association “Pro Sarajevo“, Bernd Fuchs and group of 17 citizens.

The reception was attended by the city councilors of Sarajevo, Miroslav Zivanovic and Branislava Rakonjac.

Officials of Sarajevo and Friedrichschafen talked about the continuation of the cooperation in the field of culture and education, as well as about the intensification of the future relations through fair manifestations and tourism, especially economy.

Deputy mayor of this German city, Dr. Wolfgang Sigg, said that until now, around 1.000 citizens of Sarajevo and Friedrichshafen visited these two cities within various exchanges.

“We should continue this successful story in the future as well, and work for youth to visit each other as much as possible and to cooperate in the field of culture, education and sport“.

Second day of their visit to Sarajevo, today at 9.00 a.m., delegation from Friedrichschafen will visit the Health Center “Omer Maslic“, in whose reconstruction and equipping, they invested 800.000 EUR, and at 10.00 a.m., they will meet with the officials of the Municipality Novo Sarajevo.
