UEFA has fined the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina with one of the biggest fines for our Association so far. Namely, we will have to pay over 130 thousand BAM.
UEFA announced that due to the incident at the match against Liechtenstein in Vaduz, the Association was fined 40,000 BAM.
The reason is two interruptions by BiH fans, throwing torches onto the field, and UEFA banned the sale of tickets to our fans for the first away match.
We were also fined 40,000 BAM for the duel against Portugal in Zenica.
We will pay the fine due to the discriminatory behavior of our fans, and UEFA also ordered a partial closure of the stadium during the first subsequent match we will play at home.
We pay an additional 24,000 BAM for blocking the passage in the stands in Zenica in the match with Portugal and slightly less than 20,000 BAM for throwing objects into the field during the match with Portugal.
Also, the Association must pay 8,000 BAM because one fan entered the field and tried to take a picture with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will play their next home match against Slovakia.
