The Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has filed an indictment against Novica Tripković aka “Vojvoda”, born in 1947 in Gacko municipality, a BiH citizen charged with crimes against humanity and coercion into raping another person.
The Accused is charged with having acted in a broad and systematic attack by the RS military, paramilitary and police forces against the Bosniak civilian population of Foča Municipality, knowing of such an attack and that he acted against international humanitarian law in violation of the provisions of the Geneva Convention.
He is charged with committing a war crime of raping two Bosniak victims captured and illegally detained in the Foča area, the BiH Prosecutor’s Office said.
