On the basis of a warrant issued by the State Agency for Investigation and Protection, one person was detained today at Sarajevo International Airport, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal acts of “Illegal formation and joining of foreign paramilitary or parapolice formations”, “Organizing a terrorist group” and “Terrorism” prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The arrested person was taken to the premises of SIPA, and after the criminal processing, together with the report on the committed criminal offense, within the legal term, he will be handed over to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office for further jurisdiction and action.
Deprivation of liberty was carried out by SIPA police officers in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH and the Border Police of BiH.
