Fifty-five-year-old A.G. from Mostar, who was seriously injured yesterday after falling down the rocks and then into the Neretva river, died last night in the “Dr. Safet Mujić” Cantonal Hospital, it was confirmed for BHRT.

As a result of severe physical injuries, during the night, complications occurred in her health condition.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman was watching the jumps near the garden of the restaurant with a view of the Old Bridge, and at one point, she probably slipped and hit the rocks several times during the fall, after which she fell into the Neretva river.

With the help of the Mostar Emergency Rescue Service (ISS) team and emergency services, she was taken by boat to the ambulance, and then to the hospital.

Members of the Mostar Police Department were also on the scene.
