An incident occurred in Sarajevo on Saturday evening when a police officer was attacked in front of the Novo Sarajevo Police Station building in Marijin Dvor settlement.

One woman was arrested on Sunday at 2 pm in Sarajevo, after which she stabbed a police officer with a knife.

According to Vijesti.ba news portal, members of police unit “Centar” arrested two people for criminal investigation. Unofficially, most likely during the search, police officers failed to see that one of them had a knife.

When they took them to the Detention Unit at the Novo Sarajevo Police Station, where they were to spend the night, one of the arrested women pulled out a knife and wounded a police officer.

Fortunately, he was injured in the forearm area.
