The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of BiH, in the framework of improvement of the education system in Canton Sarajevo, intends to computerize the process of enrollment of students in secondary schools i.e. to get a central place for online registration and enrollment in education programs in all secondary schools in the Canton Sarajevo.
As announced by the Press Office of the Canton Sarajevo, enrollment in secondary schools, after the announcement of the public competition for admission, will go according to models from previous years, so there is no changes in terms of submission of documents in a school that is their personal choice.
“Online enrollment is a pilot project that will help us to get online registration system tested in a way to enable students to realize their potential and enroll in the best high school according to their success. The system will be available for all students who took the external graduation exam in the primary school in Canton Sarajevo on Thursday, the 23rd of June 2016. After receiving the certificate of passing the external graduation exam, students will receive access data for online registration system in the secondary school. With access data, or user passwords, students will be able to access the site,” as said in the statement.
After registering, students will have access to all data regarding their grades, points from the external graduation, and points from the competition, if they have them. Students only need to choose up to three secondary schools. The system will automatically calculate the points for each selected school.
