Opening Ceremony of Restoration of City Hall in Novi Grad 24 May

novi grad vijećnicaThe restoration of city hall in Novi Grad will be officially opened on Friday, 24 May, announced the website of the municipality.

City hall is the most representative object in Novi Grad. Due to the extremely rich decoration and its impressiveness, it is one of the most harmonious objects in all of BIH.

The old city hall building (Town Museum) in Novi Grad is registered as a cultural monument and was under the protection of the signed law on protection of cultural-historical and natural heritage of BIH.

The restoration of city hall cost 1 million euros and it was the first cultural object in BIH that obtained IPA funds. The company “Ehta R” from Derventa carried out the construction works.
