The Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić and the Deputy Mayor of Konye Ahmet Koseoglu are in Kuršumli medresa today to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the traditional exhibition “Konya-Sarajevo” cultural educational center, as a gift to the partner Turkish city Koney with Sarajevo and its citizens on the occasion of the birthday.
The exhibition has been held since 2008, where handicrafts by our citizens were presented with the use of various artistic techniques: water painting, canvas, wood and porcelain, and jewelry and relief-work on aluminum and copper.
The exhibition will be open until 10 April.
