The Center for Psychological and Social Health through art will open tomorrow in Sarjaevo. The Center Hobby Art will be the first of its kind in the B&H capital, and will be available to all hobbyists and creative people who wish to be ‘handmade’ artists.
The leaders and mentors of Hobby Art Center will help everyone who wishes to overcome and learn creative expression with the help of the workshops that the Center will offer.
Representatives of Hobby Art Center intend to apply artistic and creative expression and action as processes that support psycho-physical and social health, and that does not require specific training of people.
The Center said that these creative processes with positive effects and development of a healthy personality are different from the art therapy as a recognized type of psycho-therapy that is based on resolving conflicts and psychological disorders, and where it is necessary to have professional training in the study of psychology and psychotherapy directions.
