Opening of LGBT Corner in Human Rights Center

lgbt-inclusionOn Friday, 13 December at 11:00, the Center for Human Rights of the University of Sarajevo will be open a study department called LBGT Corner.

The study department ‘LBGT Corner’ will offer to students of graduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies, scientific and academic community, as well as all other citizens the latest local, regional and foreign literature in the field of art, media culture, human rights of LBGT people, queer theory, LGBT studies and related fields.

The Department of Library and Documentation Center for Human Rights received rich contemporary literature, which was obtained by Sarajevo Open Center as part of the project of inclusion of the rights of LGBT people in the mainstream, and which was financed by the Embassy of Norway to B&H.

‘LBGT Corner’ in the library of the Center for Human Rights offers a wide selection of books related to theatre, film, literature, human rights, media culture, sociology, anthropology, political philosophy, medicine from the perspective of gay, bisexual, transsexual, asexual, queer issues, and human rights and social theory.
