Meteoalarm issued an orange alarm for today, for western and southeastern parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The alarm has been issued do to intense rainfall and strong winds. Expected precipitation in Herzegovina and on the west and southeast of Bosnia is between 40 and 60 liters per square meter, locally up to 80 liters, and precipitation might be more intense in the very south of the country.
Surges of wind at speed of between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour are expected in the afternoon hours in Herzegovina.
Weather in BiH today will be mostly cloudy and rainy, with snow and sleet on the mountains. More intense rainfall is expected in Herzegovina, western and southeastern parts of Bosnia, followed by thunder.
Rainfall will gradually reduce in the evening hours, and rain will entirely stop falling at places. In morning hours the wind will be moderate to strong, with stormy surges in Herzegovina and western Bosnia. Expected morning temperature is between 3 and 8 degrees, in the south between 8 and 11 degrees. The highest daily temperature will range between 7 and 13 degrees, in the south up to 15 degrees.
Weather in Sarajevo will be mostly cloudy with rain. Morning temperature will be around 6 and the highest daily temperature around 10 degrees.
