Orange Meteoalert issued for BiH

Today, the orange meteorological alarm was turned on for the area of Visegrad, Foca, Trebinje, Mostar, Sarajevo and Tuzla due to the announced extremely high daily air temperature.

The air temperature in the areas of Visegrad, Foca, Trebinje today will be higher than 35 degrees Celsius, Mostar and Tuzla from 35 to 38, and Sarajevo from 34 to 37 degrees Celsius, it was published on the Meteoalarm website.

A yellow meteorological alarm was set off for the area of Banja Luka, Prijedor, Livno and Bihac due to the announced heat.

The air temperature in the areas of Banja Luka and Prijedor today will be from 32 to 35 degrees Celsius, Livno from 32 to 34, and Bihac from 33 to 35, according to Meteoalarm.

An orange warning means that the weather is dangerous, and that caution is needed because damage is possible and human casualties.

A yellow warning means the weather can be potentially dangerous.
