Orange warning due to Rainfall in Southwest BiH

NevrijemeBiH (Fokus)Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has issued an orange alert due to intense rainfall that is expected in southwestern BiH.

According to FHMZ, intense precipitations are expected in the southwest of Bosnia in the region of Livanjsko today and tomorrow. The expected amount of rainfall in the southwestern regions is 30 to 60 l / m2, and locally even more.

Due to wind and rain, a yellow alert for Mostar, Sarajevo and Foca was issued. In the region Trebinje is expected around 40 liters of rain per square meter. A strong wind of around 50 km / h is expected as well.

Yellow warning is issued because of the rain for Banja Luka and Bihac.

As already known, the orange warning is issued due to  dangerous weather conditions and for the intensity that can cause material damage and be dangerous to humans and animals.
