In the fire that engulfed a part of the auxiliary business building “Elektrokrajina” in the center of Banja Luka on October 9, one floor and the roof of the building burned down, and the estimated damage is 256,200 BAM, Srna was told in this company.

Expert associate for communication in “Elektrokrajina” Predrag Klincov reminded that by timely activation of the fire alarm, all workers left the fire-affected building and the neighboring main building of the Directorate safely and on time, so there were no injuries.

Klintsov said that all the databases and important documentation of “Elektrokrajina”, key to the business process, are saved and safe, because they are in double digital form, stored in servers in separate locations that were not affected by the fire.

“Elektrokrajina’ formed an expert commission for fire damage assessment, which estimated the total damage to the building, office furniture and technical equipment at 256,200 BAM,” said Klintsov.

He said that the company, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Procurement, carried out the procedure of selecting a contractor for the construction rehabilitation of the building.

According to Klincov, rehabilitation includes, among other things, the removal and removal of the remains of the burnt roof structure, carpentry, office furniture and rubble, as well as the necessary basic rehabilitation – installation of a new roof structure and external carpentry with the aim of protecting the building from negative atmospheric influences.

“The contract in the amount of 169,890 BAM excluding VAT was concluded on November 2 with the companies ”Almako” and ”Veco Gradnja” from Banjaluka, which submitted a joint offer,” said Klincov.

Klincov said that the deadline for completing the works is 25 working days.
