Over 53,000 Business Entities in Bosnia have at least One blocked Account

At the end of March, 97,855 accounts of business entities were blocked in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is 632 more blocked accounts than at the end of February, according to the Central Bank of BiH.

The report also states that 53,175 companies have blocked at least one account, which is 383 companies more than at the end of the second month.

This monthly report on blocked accounts in the Register of Transaction Accounts of the Bank, which contains 3,926 pages, as before, lists legal entities from various fields, including municipalities, companies, cooperatives, sports and health organizations, associations, entities that engaged in service activities.

Last month, ie until the end of February, 97,223 accounts of business entities were blocked, while 52,792 companies had at least one account blocked.

In the first report of the Central Bank, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
