Over 8,000 BAM collected at Humanitarian Party for Children of killed Policemen

A great number of visitors to the Klix.ba Humanitarian Party in Sarajevo Holiday Market supported the action “For Our Heroes” on Sunday night. From the sale of food and beverages, auctions of jerseys, and voluntary items, organizers collected a total of 8.630,10 BAM.

The action was supported by Football Clubs Zeljeznicar and Sarajevo with the donation of the jerseys sold at auction for 1,280 BAM, as well as by the Coca-Cola Sarajevo Holiday Markets, with the donation of their own products for humanitarian tombola.

Hifa Petrol d.o.o. Sarajevo, an oil company, has decided to take the full costs for one child, the Association “Education Builds BiH” of two children, and the Municipality of Centar headed by the mayor Nedzad Ajnadzic, three children.

Material support will be provided by the IPA Governing Board, the City of Sarajevo, headed by the mayor Abdulah Skaka, the Duga Foundation and the Industrial Company Krivaja Zavidovici.

Earlier, help in money for scholarships for children was promised by the Municipal Council of Novi Grad Sarajevo and Merhamet organization.

The guests of the party last night also contributed to the voluntary contributions.

All the money will be donated to the children and families of five killed Sarajevo policemen (Adis Sehovic, Davor Vujinovic, Muhidin Pivodic, Elvedin Madesko and Mahmut Trako).
