Over 800,000 Persons in paid Employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In April 2020, the number of persons in paid employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina was 808.894, out of which there were 347.876 women. As compared to March 2020, the number of persons in paid employment decreased by 2,6% and the number of employed women also decreased by 3,3%.

The number of registered unemployed persons in April 2020 compared to March 2020 increased by 5,4% and the number of unemployed women increased by 5,8%.

In April 2020, the average monthly gross earnings per person in employment in legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1.454 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 1,1% as compared to December 2019, according to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.

In comparison to April 2019 the average monthly gross earnings for April 2020 was nominally by 2,9% higher.

In April 2020, the average monthly paid off net earning per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 942 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 0,9% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to April 2019 the average monthly paid off net earnings for April 2020 was nominally by 2,9% higher.

In March 2020, the average monthly gross earnings per person in employment in legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1.466 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 0,3% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to March 2019 the average monthly gross earnings for March 2020 was nominally by 5% higher.

In March 2020, the average monthly paid off net earnings per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 950 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 0,1% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to March 2019 the average monthly paid off net earnings for March 2020 was nominally by 4,8% higher.
