The total number of tourist visits to the Federation of BiH in 2019 was 1,071,097, which is an increase of 12.9 percent in comparison to 2017.
Of this number, 21.3 percent were domestic tourists while 78.7 percent were foreign.
The total number of overnight stays in 2018 in FBiH was 2,095,517 which is an increase of 12.6 percent in comparison to 2017. Of this number, 19.7 percent of overnight stays belonged to domestic tourist, while 80.3 belong to foreign ones.
The structure of overnight stays in the last year in FBiH is as follows: Croatia (9.1 percent), Turkey (6.7 percent), United Arab Emirates (6.4 percent), Italy (5.6 percent) and Germany (5.4 percent), a total of 33.2 percent. Tourists from all other countries realized 66.8 percent of the overnight stays, the FBiH Bureau of Statistics stated.
